Six Nations Police charge man with Impaired Operation

CrimeSix Nations Police charge man with Impaired Operation

During the holiday season, the Six Nations Police conducted multiple Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) programs around the Six Nations territory.  

Officers of the Six Nations Police were conducting a R.I.D.E program on Highway 54 at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

A motor vehicle approached the program, and officers spoke with the male driver of the vehicle. During the interaction, signs of impairment were observed on the male driver.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Brandon Hill (26-years-old) of Ohsweken, Ontario with the following offences: 

– Impaired Operation 

– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus” 

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on February 11, 2025. The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and the accused had his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
