A driver is facing charges following an investigation by Brant County OPP.
Brant County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 54 between Chiefswood Road and Painter Road in the County of Brant at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 23-year-old, Ashanti JOHNSON from Ohsweken, with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80,
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on July 16, 2026.
