Municipalities to host airport boundary open houses

AirportMunicipalities to host airport boundary open houses

City of Brantford and County of Brant residents, property owners, and businesses are invited to attend one of two public open houses to learn more about the proposed Brantford Municipal Airport Boundary Adjustment and speak directly with City of Brantford staff.

These open houses are an important opportunity for anyone who is impacted by or interested in the proposed boundary adjustment to review project information, ask questions of staff and provide feedback.

Open House Details

Date: Thursday, June 11, 2026
Location: Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course, 320 Balmoral Drive, Brantford

Session 1: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Session 2: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The open houses will be hosted by City staff and will feature information boards, project materials, and opportunities for one-on-one discussions with City staff from various departments. Comment cards will be available for attendees wishing to provide written feedback. All comments received at the open houses will be collected as part of the public engagement record, along with the questions and comments submitted through the month-long engagement campaign at LetsTalkBrantford.ca/Airport.

Please note that these open houses are intended to provide information, answer questions and gather feedback. Residents wishing to provide comments directly to elected officials will have an opportunity to do so in July when both Brantford City Council and County of Brant Council hold statutory public meetings regarding the proposed restructuring agreement. Details regarding those meetings will be promoted once dates are finalized.

Feedback received through the online engagement campaign, open houses and future statutory public meetings will help inform both Councils’ consideration of the proposed boundary adjustment.
