Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Monday, May 9, 2022.
Currently, there are 121 total active cases with 44 new cases being reported in the last 72 hours and eight people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,908 total confirmed cases, 9,720 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 1,206 new cases on Monday, May 9. Currently, there are 1,213 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 201 are in intensive care units (ICU).
