Officers with the Brantford police continue to investigate a commercial robbery and are seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect.

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a suspect entered a retail store located on Pearl Street, brandished a knife, and demanded cash from the store employee.

After receiving a quantity of cash and cigarettes, the suspect fled on foot. 

No physical injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as follows:

  • White, male, 60’s, approximately 5’10” – 6’, wearing a black balaclava, green hooded sweatshirt, a grey/black two-tone jacket with a grey stripe, and brown shoes.
