Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to attend a report of an assault which had occurred at a Colborne Street location at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
It was reported to police that a man had become verbally and physically assaultive with the driver of a taxi while being driven to a Colborne Street destination.
The victim sustained minor physical injuries.
Officers attended and located the accused.
After investigation, a 67-year-old man from Brantford was arrested and stands charged with one count of Assault contrary to the Criminal Code.
