Update: Brantford Police apprehend murder suspect

Brantford Police ServiceUpdate: Brantford Police apprehend murder suspect

Bradley George Saunders was arrested in the area of Queen Street and Darling Street after a brief foot pursuit at approximately 10:12 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Saunders is facing one count of Second Degree Murder, as well as two other charges, after Brantford Police Service responded to a disturbance at a Charlotte Street residence approximately 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

When officers arrived, they found a male victim who had been stabbed. The victim succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Police investigation has determined that the parties involved were known to each other and this is not believed to be a random incident.

At this time, police have recovered the weapon and currently have one male in custody for Accessory after the Fact to Murder, Weapons Dangerous, and Assault with a Weapon.
