Paris students receive Kiwanis Service Scholarship

County of BrantParis students receive Kiwanis Service Scholarship

The Kiwanis Club of Paris-Brant presented their first ever Kiwanis Service Scholarships during their monthly club meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. 

Harper North and Ethan Lewis, both students from Paris District High School, attended the Kiwanis club meeting along with their friends and family to receive their scholarship awards.

During the meeting, Karla Stonham, club Secretary, and Sheila Moore, club President, presented each student with a $1,000 cheque and a certificate to recognize their accomplishments within the community.

“The winners of this scholarship have an outstanding record of, through the entirety of their high school years, contributing their time and energy to helping other students, their school, and serving their local community,” said Stan Hutchinson, Public Relations and Marketing Chair for the Kiwanis Club of Paris-Brant.

The Kiwanis Club of Paris-Brant is made up of like-minded volunteer’s whose objective is to give back to the local community and support children through a diverse range of activities and fundraisers.
