Head on collision sends two people to hospital

Brant OPPHead on collision sends two people to hospital

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment, Brant County Fire Department and Paramedic Services responded to a head-on collision on Colborne Street East at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

It was determined that a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and motor vehicle collided head-on at a Colborne Street East address. As a result, the driver of the SUV and motor vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Alcohol is being considered as a contributing factor.

OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team are continuing to investigate..

The OPP are asking residents and businesses in the area with video surveillance systems to check their footage to see if the captured this incident. The motoring public who have dash camera footage are also being asked to check their footage and to contact police.
