Brantford man charged with Impaired Driving

Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Stanley Street and Dalhousie Street in an effort to confirm sobriety of the driver at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Speaking with the driver, officers observed signs of impairment and roadside breath testing was conducted. The accused failed the testing, was arrested, and transported to provide additional samples of breath as required by law.

After several attempts, the accused failed to provide suitable samples of breath.

As a result, a 51-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with: 

  • Failure Or Refusal to Comply with Demand, contrary to the Criminal Code

Additionally, the driver’s licence of the accused was suspended, and the vehicle impounded.
