Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual after investigating a three-vehicle collision that sent one person to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Brant County OPP, County of Brant Fire Department and Norfolk County Paramedic Services responded to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 24 near Burford-Delhi Townline Road in Brant County at approximately 2:04 p.m. on Monday August 8, 2022.

Highway 24 was closed for a short time while police attended to the collision.

Four occupants were transported to hospital by paramedics. One person remains in hospital and three were released. Police have charged a 30-year-old from Norfolk County with Careless Driving.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford at a later date.
