An officer with the Brant County OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Augustus Street at Peter Street in the County of Brant, regarding a possible impaired driver at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 66-year-old, Shawn BLACKLOCK of Scotland, Ontario with the following Criminal Code offences
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on November 19, 2026.
