Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating two reported thefts that occurred at a business on Grand River Street North in Paris.

On May 26, 2025, at approximately 5:29 p.m., police were contacted by two individuals who reported having their wallets stolen while shopping earlier in the day.

Police attended and initiated an investigation. Store management advised that two suspects were observed on surveillance footage in connection with one of the incidents, which occurred between 2:42 p.m. and 2:48 p.m. The second incident occurred shortly before the first.

The investigation is ongoing.
