St. George Apple Fest has once again been recognized as one of the Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario, marking the 11th time the festival has received this prestigious designation from Festivals and Events Ontario.
The award recognizes excellence among festivals and events across the province that demonstrate outstanding community engagement, economic impact, and visitor experience.
“Receiving this recognition for the 11th time is a tremendous honour,” said Jean Tucker, Festival Coordinator. “It reflects the dedication of our volunteers, vendors, performers, sponsors, and community partners who make Apple Fest possible year after year.”
The 2025 event marked the 41st annual festival, continuing a tradition that began in 1984. Drawing approximately 20,000 attendees, Apple Fest showcases local vendors, performers, agricultural heritage, and family-friendly programming while generating significant tourism and economic activity within the County of Brant.
Importantly, proceeds from St. George Apple Fest are reinvested directly back into the community. Funds support student awards, provide donations to local non-profit organizations, and contribute to the local elementary school library; ensuring the festival’s success creates lasting benefits for residents.
With 159 vendors, 23 performers, and 70 local volunteers participating in 2025, the festival continues to strengthen community pride while attracting visitors from across Ontario.
