Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts announced its 2026-2027 season lineup on Monday, June 15, 2026.
The new season was announced at the historic theatre with official remarks from Mayor Kevin Davis, followed by a presentation of the season events from Theatre Manager, Glenn Brown.
“Forty years ago, our community came together to help bring this historic theatre back to life,” said Glenn Brown, Theatre Manager. “We’re proud to celebrate that milestone with an anniversary open house and an exciting new season, and we look forward to welcoming audiences through our doors for many years to come.”
With 31 Sanderson Centre Presents performances, three films, and more than 50 highly anticipated rental events already confirmed, theatre staff are looking forward to an exciting season ahead. The season will begin with a special open house celebrating the 40th anniversary of the historic theatre’s reopening on Friday October 2, 2026. Community members are invited to join the celebration with behind-the-scenes tours, light refreshments, and an opportunity to reflect on four decades of performances, preservation, and community support. The 2026–2027 season will feature a diverse lineup of concerts, theatre, comedy, and family entertainment, including performances by I Mother Earth, Brent Butt, Tim Hicks, Erth’s Shark Dive, Big Sugar, and many more.
