Four from Brantford arrested following Six Nations fentanyl investigation

Members of Six Nations Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Brantford Police Service Drug and Firearm Enforcement Unit concluded a fentanyl and cocaine trafficking investigation on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

The joint investigation was in relation to illicit drugs believed to be trafficked both on Six Nations and the City of  Brantford. Section 11 Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants were executed on a Colborne Street East residence in the City of Brantford with the assistance of the Brantford Police Service Emergency Response Team.

Four people were arrested inside the residence without incident. As a result of the investigation, police seized the following: 

• Approximately 245.9 grams of fentanyl 

• Approximately 99.4 grams of methamphetamine 

• Approximately 14 grams of cocaine 

• Replica firearm 

• Stolen utility trailer 

• Bulk non-prescribed prescription medication, currency, drug packaging, digital scales and cell phones 

Police have arrested and charged Steven Casey (41-years-old), Erica Easto (35-year-old),  Terry Kielbiski (45-years-old) and Victoria Thorne (38-years)-old all of Brantford, Ontario with the following criminal offences: 

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl 

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine 

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine 

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone 

• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Dilaudid 

• Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000 

• Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000 

All of the accused were held in police custody pending formal bail hearings.
