On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a 9-1-1 call was received to report a male victim, at a Nelson Street residence (near Brock Street), suffering from a gunshot.
The male victim was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers attended the scene to investigate. This is not believed to be a random incident.
Police are asking residents in the immediate area to check any video surveillance between 8:30 am and 9:10 am and contact police with any information.
As this investigation is active and ongoing, additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
