Grand River Council on Aging (GRCOA) celebrated the outstanding success of The Grand Parade 2026, which raised $45,262, surpassing its $40,000 fundraising goal.
Held September 19 at Kiwanis Field Track, the event brought together 22 teams and 105 walkers, supported by dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors and enthusiastic donors. Together, they helped raise funds to keep older adults informed, engaged and connected in Brantford, the County of Brant and Six Nations of the Grand River.
“We are absolutely thrilled with this year’s results,” said Lucy Marco, Executive Director of the Grand River Council on Aging. “The generosity and enthusiasm of our community continue to amaze us. Every dollar raised and every hour volunteered help us create a community where older adults can thrive.”
The GRCOA extends heartfelt thanks to everyone whose contributions made this year’s Grand Parade such a tremendous success including the Lead Sponsor Aspira Brants Landing Retirement Living and the Brantford Kiwanis Club who hosted the event.
