Brantford Police charge woman with theft and B & E

Officers with the Brantford Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence located on Princess Street at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Officers attended and located the accused female who allegedly attempted to steal a chainsaw from a backyard shed. The accused was also found to have entered two vehicles at a nearby residence, where she is alleged to have removed the stereo from one of the vehicles.

The stereo and chainsaw were recovered. 

As a result, a 41-year-old female from Brantford stands charged with the following Criminal Code charges: 

• Theft Under x 2

• Break, Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence
