Brantford man facing Theft and Mischief charges

Brantford Police ServiceBrantford man facing Theft and Mischief charges

Officers with the Brantford Police Service received a report that coin-operated laundry machines within a residential building on Cumberland Street had been damaged, and money stolen at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

The suspect, who appeared on video surveillance, was identified, and subsequently located by police and arrested.

Information received indicated the accused was in violation of valid probation order.

As a result, a 41-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:

  • Theft Under $5,000 
  • Mischief Under $5,000 x 2
  • Breach Probation
