17-year-old from Woodstock facing Stunt Driving charge

Brant OPP17-year-old from Woodstock facing Stunt Driving charge

A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on King Edward Street west of Dumfries Street in the County of Brant after observing the suspect vehicle driving at an excessive speed at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old driver from Woodstock, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed,
  • Speeding 50+ Km/h over posted limit

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation. The driver is scheduled to attend Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on the date of December 8, 2026.
