A group of 17 people from southern Ontario, including Brantford and County of Brant, won a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1 million in the March 22, 2022 LOTTO MAX draw.

The group members are:

The group of 17 coworkers said have been playing as a team since the days of Super 7.

Ladislav, the group leader, said he was checking the winnings numbers early one morning and when he saw they matched he woke his wife to double check for him. “She scanned it using the OLG App and we saw $1 million. I’m so happy we won with the group,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I spent the whole morning on the phone with everyone convincing them I wasn’t joking,” he laughed.

Ladislav said everyone in the group is very happy. The group members all have plans for each of their portions. Some will complete home renovations, others will use it for a down payment on a house, and some will travel and save.
