On November 18, 2025, at approximately 8:38 p.m., a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 403 West after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 160 km/h in a posted 110 km/h speed zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old male driver from London has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 160 km/h in a 110 km/h posted speed zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
