Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report regarding a historical intimate partner violence incident at approximately 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
As a result of the investigation, police determined that the involved individual had allegedly committed a criminal offence against their partner. A 46-year-old resident of Brant County has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
- Assault – Spousal
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on June 19, 2025.
