Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Tuesday, February 22 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 114 total active cases with nine new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 8 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,264 total confirmed cases, 8,087 total resolved cases and 63 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 1,282 new cases on Tuesday. There are currently 1,038 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 319 are in intensive care units (ICU).
