Brantford police have issued an arrest warrant for Thomas Dean Cain, a 41-year-old man, following a stabbing that left one man in hospital with serious injuries.

On Saturday at approximately 8:45 p.m., officers received a report that a 50-year-old man had been stabbed and another man had been threatened.

After arriving on scene and investigating, authorities found a 50-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times while at a residence in the area of Dalhousie and Brock streets.

The man was transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Cain. He is wanted for the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Harm
  • Disobey Court Order
