BPS search for suspects in attempted carjacking

Members of the Brantford Police Service responded to a report of an attempted carjacking in the area of Richardson Street and Fordview Ct. in the City of Brantford shortly after 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Information received reported two males, in their late teens, disguised in medical masks approach an individual who was sitting in their car. The suspects are reported to then have brandished a firearm, demanding the keys to the vehicle.

The two males were unsuccessful and fled on foot towards Fordview Park.

Police set up containment, while a K9 track was deployed to locate the two suspects, however they remain outstanding.

No physical injuries were sustained in this incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Male, white, approximately 16-20 years old, blue medical mask
Suspect 2: Male, Indigenous, approximately 16-20 years old, blue medical mask
