BPS charge Hamilton woman with Break and Enter

Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to a Nelson Street residence for a report of a break and enter in progress at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Officers attended and located the accused sleeping on the floor of the residence. The accused was taken into custody without incident.

A search incident to arrest found the accused in possession of a replica pistol, and a switch blade knife. 

Investigation revealed the accused is currently in violation of valid peace bonds.

As a result, a 24-year-old female from Hamilton, stands charged with the following Criminal Code offences: 

• Break and Enter with Intent

• Breach Peace Bond x 2 

• Possess Prohibited Weapon 

The accused was held for bail.
