Alliston woman charged with Possession of Stolen Goods

On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at approximately 7:00 a.m., patrol officers with the Brantford Police Service observed a vehicle that had previously been reported as stolen from another jurisdiction at approximately 7:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 13.

The vehicle was located in a Colborne Street parking lot. 

Investigation revealed that the vehicle, which had out-of-province licence plates, was rented by the accused and was to be returned in May, 2022.   

Officers located the accused nearby. The vehicle was recovered.

As a result of this investigation, a 49-year-old female from Alliston stands charged with Possession of Stolen Goods Over $5,000, contrary to the Criminal Code.
