Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner-related incident in Brant County.
On June 15, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Brant County OPP responded to a report of an assault at a residence in the County of Brant.
Investigation determined that a physical and verbal argument between two individuals occurred with one person sustaining a minor injury as a result. The involved parties are known to one another.
As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged with, Assault – Spousal.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Brantford at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 31, 2026.
