Brantford police are appealing to the public in locating the suspect of an early morning hit-and-run.

Officers said a black SUV struck a parked vehicle along Dalhousie Street near Park Avenue.  The driver’s right side passenger mirror and right side door handle were left behind and the driver failed to remain on scene.

Police describe the vehicle as a black SUV, possibly a Kia. The driver is described as a black man wearing camo pants and a black hoodie.

Detectives are requesting anyone with footage or dash cam who were in the area on Sunday, between 5:30 – 8:10a.m., or anyone who has information or has seen a vehicle with damage to the right passenger side to report it to Brantford Police.
