The 6v6 Rampage added to their medal haul this season by capturing the silver medal at the OVA McGregor Cup in Hamilton on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

The Tornadoes opened the tournament by defeating London Forest City Pine 25-11, 25-15 then followed that up by beating the Niagara Rapids Summit 25-21, 26-24 to capture first in their pool.

In the playoffs, they opened with a 27-29, 25-15, 15-9 victory over the Grimsby Vipers then defeated the Hamilton Smash Raiders 23-25, 25-14, 15-6 to reach the championship game.

In the final, the girls battled hard, but lost in straights sets in a tightly contested match, 23-25, 22-25, against the Ancaster Lions to earn the silver medal.

“The staff are proud of the way the girls fought hard all day long and implemented tactics worked on in practice. We are looking forward to the next event.”
