Police investigating stabbing incident in Brantford

Brantford Police ServicePolice investigating stabbing incident in Brantford

Officers with the Brantford Police Service responded after receiving a 911 call to report that a 44-year-old male victim was stabbed on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

According to sources, the incident took place at the Grand Motel on Colborne Street in Brantford at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. This investigation is active and ongoing.

Authorities say they do not believe the stabbing was random, and no arrests have been made at this time.
