25-year-old facing multiple charges after altercation

Brantford Police Service25-year-old facing multiple charges after altercation

Members of the Brantford Police Service responded to a report of an altercation between two males in the area of Chatham Street and Queen Street at 2:12 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Upon Police arrival, one of the males involved was located and treated at the scene with non-life threatening injuries. The male was later transported to a local hospital for further assessment and treatment. 

Investigations revealed that the altercation is an isolated event and that there is no risk to the public as the involved individuals have been identified.

A 25-year-old male from Brantford is in custody and held for bail on numerous criminal code offences including;

• Assault with a Weapon 

• Fail to Comply with Judicial Release

• Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
