Brant OPPStoney Creek resident facing charges after motor vehicle collision

One person is facing impaired driving charges after Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members investigated a single-vehicle collision.

Brant County OPP officers responded to a collision on King Edward Street in the County of Brant at approximately 8:29 p.m. on Saturday November 12, 2022.

It was determined a motor vehicle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. One person was arrested and transported to Brant County OPP detachment for testing.

Police have charged Cody DUNPHY, 29-years-of-age from Stoney Creek with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol or drugs and
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
