Six Nations Police were advised of a vehicle in the ditch on Mohawk Road at approximately 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

When officers  attended the area, they observed a male party in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle. Police spoke with the male and observed signs of impairment. The male was transported to a local area hospital for minor injuries.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Wesley Froman (44-years-old) of Ohsweken, Ontario with the following offences:

– Impaired Operation 

– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus” 

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford,  Ontario on February 6, 2025. The vehicle was impounded for seven days.
