Members of Six Nations Police Drug Enforcement Unit concluded a firearm investigation by executing a Section 487 Criminal Code search warrant at a residence located on Townline Road on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Upon entry, police located two males, one of which was pointing a firearm in the direction of police. Both males were placed under arrest without further incident. As a result of the investigation, police seized the following:
• Approximately 141.5 grams of Cocaine
• Approximately 13.2 grams of Crack Cocaine
• Bulk Hydromorphone and Oxycodone prescription pills not prescribed to either accused
• .22 Calibre rifle with ammunition
• Bulk currency
• Prohibited weapon, cell phones, drug packaging and scales
• Stolen Chevrolet Tahoe
Dakota Davey (41-years-old) of Ohsweken, ON, has been charged with the following criminal offences:
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Cocaine
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Hydromorphone
• Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition: Careless Use X2
• Firearm: Pointing
• Firearm: Unauthorized Possession
• Firearm: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
• Firearm: Regulations
• Weapon: Unauthorized Possession
• Weapon: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
• Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000
• Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000
John Holland (49-year-old) of New Credit, ON, has been charged with the following criminal offences:
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Cocaine
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking: Hydromorphone
• Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition: Careless Use X2
• Firearm: Unauthorized Possession
• Firearm: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
• Firearm: Regulations
• Weapon: Unauthorized Possession
• Weapon: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
• Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000
• Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000
Holland was later released via Form 10 Undertaking. Davey was held in police custody pending a formal bail hearing.
