The County of Brant will honour Remembrance Day, offering three different services across the County, hosted by our local Royal Canadian Legions.
Burford – Remembrance Day Colour Parade and Service
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 543, the Burford, Cathcart and Harley chapter will host a Remembrance Day colour parade and service. The parade will begin at 10:45am at the Burford Legion, 5 Park Avenue, Burford. The march will make it’s way down the road to the Burford Cenotaph, also on Park Avenue. A one hour service will be held at the Cenotaph.

Locations: Burford Legion, 5 Park Avenue in Burford and the Burford Cenotaph, 6 Park Avenue, Burford. Please note Park Avenue will be closed from East Andrew Street to the Legion from 10:45am until 12pm.

Paris – Remembrance Day Ceremony
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29, Paris, will host a Remembrance Day Service at the Paris Cenotaph, located downtown Paris. The service will be for one hour and several streets will be closed.
Date: Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Time: 10:30am – 11:30am
Location: Paris Cenotaph, located on the corner of Grand River Street North and Mechanic Street, downtown Paris.
The following roads will be closed from 10:30am – 11:30am:
Broadway Street West between William Street and Mechanic Street
St George Remembrance Day Ceremony
The St. George Legion, Branch #605 will host a Remembrance Day Ceremony at the St George Cenotaph on Main Street in St George. A community luncheon will follow at the legion, 9 Main Street North, St George.
