Police charge Brantford woman with Drug offences

Special Constables with the Brantford Police were on foot patrol in the parking garage located at Icomm Drive when they observed two people who appeared to be under the influence of drugs in the stairwell at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Through investigation it was determined that one of the individuals was currently wanted on outstanding warrants and was placed under arrest.

Search incident to arrest located the following in the possession of the accused:

  • Approximately 22.5 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $3,375
  • Approximately 1.7 grams of suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $530
  • A Quantity of Currency
  • Drug paraphernalia including an electronic scale, and small bags 

As a result, a 40-year-old female of Brantford stands charged with the offences of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2 counts (fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine), contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
