Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to the intersection of West Street and Farringford Drive following multiple reports of a male assaulting a taxi driver on the roadway approximately 5:50 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025.
Upon arrival, police located and arrested a 27 year-old male.
As a result of the investigation, the male has been charged with the following criminal offences:
– Robbery
– Assault with a Weapon
– Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
– Uttering Threats to Cause Death
