Paris Drinks Fest returning to Lions Park

Local NewsParis Drinks Fest returning to Lions Park

Paris Drinks Fest is returning to Lions Park on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20.

The event was first held in 2018 and is designed to be a celebration of food and drinks from across Ontario. Over 20 different vendors will be on site for attendees to enjoy including local businesses like Paris Beer Co., Altitude Coffee Roasters, Howell Road Cider Co., Juniper Dining Co., and Manns Botanical Spirits.

Due to the pandemic the event was not held in 2020 or 2021, but organizers said they are thrilled to be back in a big way.

The Friday evening session features the return of 2019 fan-favourite headliners, Dwayne Gretzky. The 10+ piece group from Toronto brings new flavour to old-school classics. Nuela Charles and Rachel Bobbitt open up for the group on the Main Stage, while Mattie Leon and Peter Elkas will each perform in the Session Tent Stage.

Hamilton singer-songwriter Terra Lightfoot will headline the Saturday afternoon session.  The Redhill Valleys will open up for Lightfoot while drag performer Tynomi Banks performs in the Session Tent Stage with Mattie Leon.

Guests at the sold-out Saturday evening session will enjoy Juno award-winning rock quartet Sloan as the headliners. Jane’s Party will provide support ahead of Sloan on the Main Stage, while Tynomi Banks returns for a second performance alongside The Devil’s Drink in the Session Tent Stage.

Noisemaker Presents Inc. is one of the largest independent concert promoters in Southern Ontario. The group also hosts the DT Concert Series in Paris.
