One person injured after motorcycle collision in Brant County

Brant OPPOne person injured after motorcycle collision in Brant County

One person is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle collision on Rest Acres Road in Brant County early on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

At approximately 1:05 a.m., members from Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), County of Brant Fire Department and Brant-Brantford Paramedic Services responded to a collision on Rest Acres Road in the County of Brant.

It was determined that a motorcycle failed to navigate a roundabout and the rider was ejected. One person was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Alcohol is being considered as a contributing factor.

Rest Acres Road was closed from Lydia Lane to Highway 403 for approximately eight hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene.
