Officers with the Brantford Police Service (BPS) responded after it was reported that two men were stabbed following an altercation in front of a bar located at Market Street and Chatham Street at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

The suspect fled the area and both victims were transported to hospital, one with serious injuries and the other for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

On Monday, November 10, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the suspect, a 27-year-old man from Ohsweken, was arrested and stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:

  • Breach probation
  • Breach of undertaking
  • Attempt Murder x 2
  • Aggravated Assault x 2

The accused was held for bail.
