Man and woman facing charges after break and enter

Brantford Police ServiceMan and woman facing charges after break and enter

Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to a West Street residence after receiving a report of a break and enter in progress at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023.

Officers attended and located a male and female exiting the property. The accused were arrested.

A search located break and enter instruments and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine in possession of both of the accused.

Additionally, information received indicated both of the accused were in violation of a valid undertaking.

As a result, a 39-year-old male resident of Brantford stands charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Break and Enter with Intent 
  • Possession of Break in Instruments 
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking 
  • Possession for the Purpose – Methamphetamine 

A 31-year-old female resident of Brantford also stands charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Break and Enter with Intent 
  • Possession of Break in Instruments 
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking 
  • Possession Schedule 1 – Methamphetamine
