Kitchener resident facing Stunt Driving charges

Brant OPPKitchener resident facing Stunt Driving charges

A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 24 south of McLean School Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed at approximately 10:58 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when they observed a vehicle travelling 142 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old driver from Kitchener has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 153 km/h in a 80 km/h Zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
