Four teenagers involved in fight, facing several charges

Brantford Police ServiceFour teenagers involved in fight, facing several charges

Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched after receiving a report of an assault involving a weapon in the area of Memorial Drive and North Park Street at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Witnesses reported several youths fighting outside of the location. Officers attended, located, and arrested the accused youth.

No physical injuries were reported as a result of the assault.

Upon further investigation, officers determined all four of the youths were in violation of various release orders.

As a result, the following youth, who are all residents of Brantford, stand charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • A 14-year-old male stands charged with Failure to Comply with Judicial Release Order
  • A 13-year-old male stands charged with Breach of Undertaking and Possession of Weapons 
  • A 13-year-old male stands charged with Breach of Undertaking, Possession of Weapons, and Assault
  • A 16-year-old male stands charged with Possession of Weapons and Failure to Comply with Judicial Release Order 

All four accused were held for bail.
