Driver charged with Impaired Driving after single vehicle collision

Brant OPPDriver charged with Impaired Driving after single vehicle collision

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Brant County Detachment, have charged a Brantford resident with impaired driving related offences following a single-vehicle collision that occurred on Wednesday evening.

Officers with the Brant County OPP responded to the reported collision on Fourth Concession Road, east of Muir Road at approximately 6:23 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle, the officer administered a roadside breathalyzer test, and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Police have now charged 25-year-old Dalton FINCH, of Brantford with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired and,
  • Operation while impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
