In 2022, he was appointed as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the County of Brant to assist in the recruitment for a permanent Chief Administrative Officer.

“As the Chair of the Board of Directors for Brant Municipal Enterprises I look forward to having Darryl leading the helm,” said David Bailey, Mayor for the County of Brant. “Darryl earned the trust and respect of County of Brant Council throughout his tenure as Interim Chief Administrative Officer, and we are excited to see what the future holds for him with Brant Municipal Enterprises.”

Brant Municipal Enterprises Inc. is an incorporated, County of Brant owned corporation with a primary focus on generating new revenues for the County of Brant while adding economic and social value to the community. Brant Municipal Enterprises focuses on renewable energy development and real estate.

“As we welcome Mr. Lee, I would also like to thank our Acting Chief Executive Officer of Brant Municipal Enterprises, Adam Crozier,” said Newton. “Adam was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer on June 5, 2023 as recruitment for the CEO began. He will return to his position as Director of Corporate Strategy for the County of Brant.”
