County of BrantCounty appoints new General Manager of Development Services

The County of Brant announced that Alysha Dyjach has been appointed as the new General Manager of Development Services on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Dyjach, formerly the Director of Council Services, has been with the County since 2021 and officially took on the role as of August 12.

Alison Newton, CAO for the County, said that with Dyjach’s previous roles within the City of Brantford and the City of Woodstock, the County is grateful to have her in this new position.

“We are fortunate to have Alysha on the team,” said Newton. “She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her previous roles, and we appreciate her commitment to the County of Brant.”

As the General Manager of Development Services, Dyjach will oversee a portfolio of Building, Development Engineering, Development Planning and Policy Planning.

While there is an interim Director of Council Services currently serving the County, there are plans to recruit for a permanent position in the near future.
