City of Brantford to host municipal job fair in November

The City of Brantford will be hosting an in-person “Come Grow with Us” Job Fair on Saturday, November 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre.

Hiring managers along with staff from 18 City departments will be on-site taking questions from attendees and sharing information about having a career with the municipality. City departments that will be in attendance include:

  • Aquatics & Fitness
  • Arena Operations
  • Brantford Fire
  • Business Support & Sustainability
  • Clerks
  • Communications, Community Engagement & Customer Service
  • Community Recreation
  • Economic Development, Tourism & Culture
  • Engineering Services
  • Finance
  • Fleet & Transit Services
  • Housing & Homelessness
  • Human Resources
  • IT Services
  • Operational Services
  • Paramedic Services
  • Parks Services
  • Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts

Job seekers are encouraged to attend to learn more about the benefits of joining #TeamBrantford, ask questions of City staff and be prepared to speak to hiring managers about careers at the City that may be of interest to them. Applications for positions will not be accepted at the job fair as applicants must apply online.

Students looking for work next summer are encouraged to attend as many seasonal and summer job opportunities will be available for 2024.
